We are an ISO 27001 accredited organisation and as an NHS and Social Care business partner we have to do the NHS and Social Care Information governance toolkit to be able to tender for contracts.
As we are very busy with all the services we provide, we could not make anyone available to do that.
On the Internet we found Info Gov Limited and contacted Peter Willemse.
He looked at our Staff, the processes, the policies, all the information we have on file and the way we train our staff and was able to submit the Information Governance Toolkit with all the evidence required in place. Were necessary he amended the policies and put new policies in place.
We have a score of 100% for the version 9 IG Toolkit assessment which has been reviewed and is found satisfactory by the Information Governance Policy and Planning Division, Informatics Directorate, Department of Health.
He worked 3 days for us and got us to the right level at 100% for the version 9 IG Toolkit assessment.

IRW have just employed the services of a consultant Peter Willemse, of Info Gov Limited, who is an
Information Governance Specialist, he has sorted out all of our policies and procedures and pointed the
organisation in the right direction. He has spent three days with us now and will be back in February 2012
for an Information Governance Awareness Training for all staff.
I am hopeful/confident that we are now officially at level 2, and in some instances has got us to level 3.
